Podcast The Abnormal Psychologist hits N0:2 in itunes health charts!

Carrie is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in a variety of mental health settings, both public and private for twenty years. Over the last fifteen years Carrie has been working in private practice with children, young people and adults as well as supervising and mentoring other clinicians. She practices on the Sunshine Coast QLD delivering psychological therapy to clients referred with diagnoses, such as anxiety, depression, trauma and other significant stressors that have a negative impact on daily life. Carrie is also a speaker and has presented at training events and workshops all over the country for GPs, clients, and the general public, she has delivered research papers at conferences, published articles in magazines, and has been interviewed on radio shows, such as Hack on Triple J. Carrie has also presented at mental health awareness events including sharing the stage with other speakers such as Jessica Rowe and the Minister for Mental Health. Carrie was also the host of the top rated health podcast “The Abnormal Psychologist” Giving you the “how to” to get the best out of you? The abnormal reflects imperfection – that she is a woman, wife and mother before she is a clinical psychologist and therefore has worries and bad days too just like everybody else. However her clinical knowledge and experience allows her to draw on strategies that she has seen assist others, …and herself.  On the podcast she chats with guests about everyday mind, body and life matters to inspire listeners to have the life that they want. There are discussions and interviews around how to improve everyday mental health, nutrition, movement and exercise as well as health and lifestyle product reviews.
